Being Celebrated

Being Celebrated

When you spend your days celebrating everyone else—

making sure they feel seen, making sure they feel loved,

finding little ways to make their hearts happy—

you don’t always wonder who will do the same for you.

You simply give.

You show up.

You love loudly.

You remember what matters.

And then, when you least expect it,

the world turns toward you.

People show up.

They surprise you.

They remind you that you matter, too.

Suddenly, you are standing in the middle of all the love you thought you were only giving away.

Being celebrated.

Not because you asked.

Not because you needed it.

But simply because you are loved.

And oh—what a feeling.

To let yourself receive it.

To stop and take it all in.

To laugh, to cry, to feel your heart overflowing.

To be present instead of rushing past the moment.

To realize:

I am worth celebrating, too.

And I want to hold this joy with both hands.

I want to remember what it feels like to be surprised by love.

To be surrounded.

To be thought of.

To be cherished.

And more than anything,

I want this feeling for every person who has ever wondered if anyone cares.

For every heart that keeps giving and giving.

May you be celebrated.

May love find you unexpectedly.

May people show up for you.

May you know, deep in your bones:

I am loved.

I am seen.

I am celebrated.

And I am so grateful to be here for it.
